- Why was this site developed?

When the owner of 1Eighty Design moved to Warsaw in 2009 he was familiar with the area but didn't know everything the county had to offer. It was difficult to find reliable information on who provided different services. As a web developer he has always wanted to develop a large scale website with a community of users and affiliates. He wanted to help the area and provide a central location to find businesses, organizations and attractions.
Getting Listed
- Who can be listed?

Everyone listed on the website is considered an "Affiliate". Affiliates are made up of businesses, organizations, charities, schools, service providers and attractions such as parks and lakes. Any type of business, group or attraction residing or contained in Kosciusko County can be listed on the site. They must also meet the criteria in or Terms of Service.
- Why does it cost money?

We want to be able to advertise the site to attract more users bringing even more attention to your listing. Another reason is we plan to give back to the county as well, part of the revenue will be given to local charities and organizations each year. Also, a lot of time and effort has gone into the development of the site. There will be new features added periodically as well as regular maintenance on the site.
User Accounts
- Why do you use Facebook to log in?

The user accounts (not manager accounts) use Facebook authentication to gain access to the site. This was done to simply the login process, it also allows us to use all of the features they have for social plugins. Our number one goal is to spread the word about our local affiliates and Facebook lets that happen.
While we understand that not everyone has a Facebook account, this allows us to have unique users on the site without having to manage their accounts, usernames and passwords.
- Do users have to pay?

Absolutely not! Users are encouraged to sign up for this free service to recommend local businesses in the area as well as vote on their favorite foods or download coupons.
